​The 2025 WNBA Draft is set to take place on Monday, April 14, 2025, featuring three rounds—all conducted on the same night.  This year marks a significant moment for the league, with the introduction of the Golden State Valkyries, the first expansion team since 2008 (Atlanta Dream), who hold the fifth pick in each round. ​

Top Prospects to Watch


Leading the draft class is Paige Bueckers, the standout guard from UConn, projected to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Wings.  Other notable prospects include Dominique Malonga (France), Sonia Citron (Notre Dame), Kiki Iriafen (USC), and Aneesah Morrow (LSU). 


Las Vegas Aces Draft Outlook


The Las Vegas Aces draft outlook does not contain a first-round pick this year due to a previous league violation.  However, they hold the 13th overall pick (first of 2nd round) and are expected to target players who can complement their core lineup, potentially focusing on versatile guards or forwards to bolster their roster.​ The Aces also have the 34th overall pick in the late 3rd round this year.
